Supply Schedule – a table depicting the relationship between the price of a product and the quantity supplied (offered for sale).
Supply Curve - a graphical representation of a supply schedule.
Elastic Supply – a situation in which sellers are responsive to price changes; that is, the quantity supplied increases readily when the price rises.
Inelastic Supply – a situation in which quantity supplied does not increase readily when the price rises.
Equilibrium Price – a price determined in the marketplace by the interaction of supply and demand.
Equilibrium Quantity – the quantity sold (bought) at the equilibrium price.

It can be stated that “Economics is the study of mankind in the standard ordinary business of life; it examines that part of individual and social action which is most closely connected with the attainment and with the use of the material prerequisites of well being.”
It can also be said that the significance of the fact that the means of satisfying human needs and wants are available only in limited quantities , so that when these means are employed to achieve the objectives of parceling out limited resources , other objectives must by necessity be relinquished/
Thus economics can be considered as a science which studies human behaviour as a relationship between ends and scarce means .

Economics is not inherently a difficult subject . The basic principles of economics can be readily explained to any intelligent adult. A proper appreciation of modern economic institutions and policies requires knowledge of their policies and of their historical backgrounds.
The presentation of economic principles to the beginning student of economic and forex foreign currency trading basics could be and should be quite rigorous and thorough. Each step in the exposition should be clearly defined , however , and the relationship of each step to the next should be clearly defined.
